I started playing tennis at the age of 7 and quickly fell in love with the game. By the time I was in high school, I was part of back-to-back state championship teams in 1983 and 1984. My journey continued at the renowned Harry Hopman Academy (now at Saddlebrook Resort, Tampa, FL) and the NIKE-sponsored tennis academy at Yale University in New Haven, CT. These experiences laid the foundation for a successful adult tennis career, including competing on five state championship USTA teams, and four Midwest championship teams, and earning two runner-up finishes at USTA Nationals. Today, I remain actively involved in competitive tennis, participating in multiple USTA teams and leagues.

Having managed programs with 120-150 players in a weekend, I’ve developed and executed drills, training sessions, and match play that focus on enhancing skills and building confidence. My approach is centered around improving technical abilities, match strategies, movement, stroke mechanics, and mental resilience. I strive to foster a deep love for tennis while empowering my players to excel both on and off the court.
